Sabrina Bergeron

Sabrina Bergeron is a fourth-year PhD candidate at the MUHC – McGill University Ocular Pathology & Translational Research Laboratory. After graduating with a BSc in biochemistry (2010) and a MSc in Biomedical Sciences with Honours (2012) at Université de Montréal, Sabrina went on to pursue an Advanced Specialty Certificate in Forensic Sciences at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
Sabrina has always had a profound interest for pathology and an admiration for the Pathologists’ ability to get intimate with diseases at a microscopic level. Her main thesis focus is two-fold; the integration of OCT technology to diagnosing ocular diseases, and the molecular basis underlying neoplastic changes in ocular melanoma.
