Iram Siddiqui

Dr. Iram Siddiqui was appointed as a staff pathologist at the Department of Paediatric Laboratory Medicine, Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), Toronto, Canada, on September 1, 2015. After obtaining her medical degree from Pakistan, Dr. Siddiqui completed a Master’s degree in Pathology from Western University, London Ontario. She subsequently continued her residency training in anatomical pathology at Western. She completed her clinical fellowship in adult and pediatric gastrointestinal and liver pathology at Mount Sinai, Toronto General Hospital and Sickkids, as part of her GI/liver Pathology Fellowship at University of Toronto, in 2014. Followed by a 2 year Molecular Pathology Fellowship at Princess Margaret Cancer Center (UofT), with ongoing work on analyzing tumour microenvironment in pancreatic cancer. Teaching has remained her passion throughout her career and she has been involved in educational activities both nationally and internationally. Her practice involves luminal and non-luminal gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary diseases, with special interest in pediatric liver diseases.
